In order to weigh Waldo down we made our own sandbags at the beach one rainy Vancouver night! It was quite the adventure! We made them small and black as to fit along Waldo’s black lines. This way he wont blow away in the wind. Don’t worry, we are just borrowing the sand!

I was listening to CBC’s “Q” and I was so seriously moved by your project because it connects the “Peoples” of the world (those with Google Earth). I think it should be encouraged that your fine expression of “Global Connectedness” should be printed and posted anywhere used generally for Bulletin Board Notices and Announcements.
